Version 1.5 of TweetOnPost should be showing up on the WordPress site pretty soon.  I’ve added support for multiple Twitter accounts.  It seems to work ok when I tested it, but let me know if you have any problems when you do the update.

  1. Great plugin Dan! Any chance you can tweet comments too? Maybe with a message like “New comment on xxxxxx http://bit.ly/alfjaeif“ It would be great if this option was configurable so people that want it can turn it on or vice versa.

    Thanks!!

  2. Dan, great plugin, simple to install, OAuth went smoothly, it exactly what I need. Unfortunately it didn't tweet my post this morning. Did leaving the “use twitter for login” blank cause this?

  3. My understanding of the “Use Twitter for Login” option is that it doesn't do anything but add an extra information to the calls that tells your application that it's using the option. It shouldn't have an effect. Did you update your wordpress via web admin or API?

  4. Thanks for your feedback. I'll definitely consider this feature.

  5. It would be great, if one of the next versions add twitter tags from the tags on the post :)

  7. Maybe related to my site, but I can’t activate your plugin, the following error is reported by WP and activation is aborted.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in /hermes/web01/b915/pow.roddyrotten/htdocs/roddyrotten/blog/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/tweetonpost/TweetOnPost.php on line 186

  9. This is a great plug-in and will really save time having to write the blog then to tweet.

One question though; is it possible to have [category] as well title and link?
